L@s constituyentes del distrito 16 avanzan en su agenda conjunta de encuentros con organizaciones, apuntando al objetivo de nutrir directamente desde las personas sus propuestas para la nueva constitución.

En una nueva actividad de encuentro con personas, los cuatro constituyentes del distrito 16 (Colchagua, Cardenal Caro y cuatro comunas de Cachapoal) convocaron conjuntamente a un diálogo sobre la salud en la constitución. Lo hicieron el pasado lunes, en el hospital de San Fernando, en una actividad organizada en conjunto con la Federación de Trabajadores de la Salud, FENATS y la Confederación de Profesionales Universitarios de la Salud, FENPRUSS de la capital de Colchagua.
“La salud que queremos en la nueva constitución” fue un encuentro con dos características relevantes. La primera: todos los constituyentes del distrito, adherentes de opciones políticas muy diversas, se vieron juntos y en diálogo entre ellos; nada más alejado de la imagen del “club de la pelea” que predomina en algunos medios nacionales. La segunda, es que los puntos suspensivos que pesan sobre las actividades en terreno, por la apretada agenda de la Convención, este grupo de convencionales mantienen su “cable a tierra”, dialogando con la gente.
Adriana Cancino, Gloria Alvarado, Ricardo Neumann y Nicolás Núñez saludaron a los casi 30 participantes del encuentro y dieron el paso a un programa centrado en el trabajo de grupos que elaboraron definiciones y propuestas.
L@s asistentes, en su mayoría trabajador@s de la salud y dirigentes de juntas vecinales, priorizaron varios conceptos que en su visión deben tenerse en cuenta en la nueva constitución, entre los que destacamos:
- Derecho universal a la salud con acceso garantizado a una atención digna y oportuna, resolutiva e integral.
- Descentralizar la salud para facilitar el acceso de sectores tradicionalmente postergados; organización de los servicios de salud desde las provincias.
- Prioridad a una salud preventiva, desde la formación de l@s niñ@s en el colegio.
- Definir los medicamentos como bien social para evitar el lucro desmedido en su comercialización.
- Priorizar la salud mental en las prestaciones.
- Considerar la participación de distintos actores sociales en decisiones del ámbito de la salud.
Los convencionales del 16 continuarán con su agenda de encuentros con la comunidad pues asumen que “no somos expertos en todo” y necesitan escuchar la voz de la gente que vive en carne propia las restricciones de derechos. La gente, definen, puede y debe aportar con esa experiencia a la redacción de la nueva constitución.
