Feminismo, una transformación cultural

El desafío de las mujeres y disidencias hoy no está solo en instalar las nuevas normas y políticas para generar las condiciones del cambio paradigmático que vivimos. Deberemos seguir enfrentando en el día a día las barreras culturales, seguir rompiendo esquemas y sacar la voz por aquellas víctimas que no podemos olvidar.

Los desafíos culturales que tenemos como sociedad son enormes. Estamos ad portas de contar con una nueva constitución que defienda los derechos de todas las personas que habitan nuestro país. Comienza un nuevo gobierno que tiene una perspectiva feminista, con la promesa de fortalecer a cada territorio para su desarrollo sostenible y en equilibrio con el medio ambiente.

Estamos viviendo un momento crítico de nuestra historia que puede significar un punto de inflexión entre volver a caer en la dominación patriarcal y, con ello, su modelo de enriquecimiento desequilibrado, que ha dejado una huella de violencia y devastación sin precedentes, o bien comenzamos a caminar a paso firme con una perspectiva feminista. Una práctica que pone el bien común por sobre la ambición individual y que cuida y respeta el derecho de tod@s por existir en igualdad de condiciones, con acceso a los bienes fundamentales para la sobrevivencia como el agua, vivir en un espacio seguro, contar con las condiciones para aprender y crecer en armonía con el entorno, con un sistema de salud integral y una vejez digna.

Este camino de profunda transformación en el que la gran mayoría de l@s chilen@s estamos de acuerdo, no solo necesita una carta magna que nos oriente, es también fundamental profundizar en los cambios de hábitos, abrir la mirada a la diversidad y a la compleja interacción de factores que implican integrar la teoría del nuevo deber ser de nuestra patria (o tal vez se deba decir matria) a la propia experiencia cotidiana.

Los símbolos propios de la tradición cultural de la que venimos están mutando, lo que antes era bueno o malo, correcto o incorrecto ha sufrido grandes transformaciones porque aquellas normas sociales que dictaban las élites machistas no lograron contener la diversidad de expresiones culturales que hoy son parte de nuestra sociedad.

Cada nueva generación va rompiendo esquemas caducos anteriores y las mujeres y diversidades van poco a poco logrando sostenerse frente a la violenta anulación que aún tiene el poder hegemónico. Un poder que, al verse amenazado, actúa ante cualquier excusa para complacer su ego inseguro frente a la exigencia de compartir el escenario del poder, blindando a victimarios, haciéndolos pasar por víctimas, despojando de verdad y reparación a quienes son las verdaderas mártires de su violencia. Aquí tenemos que detenernos y ver de frente el horror que ha significado históricamente la violencia machista, desde el abuso de poder y su estructura desigual en cada ámbito de desarrollo, como en la violencia física, psicológica, emocional y simbólica que castiga, que desmerece y deslegitima a otr@ por no entrar en los cánones de sumisión esperados.

La necesidad de empoderar a mujeres y personas diversas en los espacios decisivos es clave para orientar desde las políticas públicas y las dinámicas comunitarias la integración de los nuevos valores sociales en el accionar cotidiano, educándonos, viviendo de manera positiva los beneficios de instalar la mirada consciente, solidaria, comunitaria y de cuidado que propone el feminismo. Ese proceso cultural que se está viviendo de manera espontánea e irrefrenable puede tener una orientación mucho más dinámica desde lo público y también desde la articulación territorial, porque se hace urgente un proceso de educación cívica que, en todos los ámbitos de desarrollo social y cultural, comprenda aquellas nuevas directrices de relación social respetuosa de nuestros derechos, comprometidas con la integración, proceso que debe ser acompañado por tod@s para que tenga un futuro amable, más consciente y mucho menos violento. El desafío de las mujeres y disidencias hoy no está solo en instalar las nuevas normas y políticas para generar las condiciones del cambio paradigmático que vivimos. Deberemos seguir enfrentando en el día a día las barreras culturales, seguir rompiendo esquemas y sacar la voz por aquellas víctimas que no podemos olvidar. Hoy nos debemos seguir aferrando a nuestros pañuelos, fortalecer nuestros movimientos y de manera activa y solidaria sacar a la luz cada acto de violencia e injusticia, promover el cuidado y respeto en cada ámbito en el que estemos, ser cada vez más conscientes de la relevancia de convivir sanamente, hasta que como sociedad comprendamos los nuevos márgenes de acción y convivamos de manera armónica, respetuosa y realmente libre. Queda mucho por andar, esperamos que hoy las condiciones sean menos adversas y más propicias para que la experiencia de vida de quienes vienen llegando a este mundo sea más plena y no retrocedamos al tiempo del yugo del que con tanto esfuerzo nos estamos emancipando.
