Los pinchazos de Héctor Luis

En un rincón de Pichilemu, tras la fachada de su vulcanización, Héctor Luis Pacheco ha dado vida a una galería de arte. Clavo que elimina de un neumático pinchado se transforma en la materia prima de una obra artística que crece día a día. Al ritmo de los pinchazos.

Héctor Luis Pacheco es un artista innato, de aquellos que, sin importar las circunstancias de su vida, la educación u oficio tienen una necesidad irrefrenable de expresarse desde las artes visuales. Lo extraordinario en Héctor es que lo ha hecho con los medios que ha tenido a su disposición.

Nacido en Pichilemu en 1960, se ha dedicado toda su vida al oficio aprendido de su padre: la vulcanización. Al principio no le gustaba porque siempre quiso estudiar una carrera agrícola, pero las circunstancias familiares no se lo permitieron; eran muchos hermanos y los recursos no eran suficientes. Con el tiempo le fue tomando cariño a su oficio que para él es como un servicio a la comunidad. Recuerda cómo tuvo que arreglar dos neumáticos para un bus lleno de pasajeros a las cinco de la mañana, o levantarse a la una de la mañana para ayudar a una familia que había quedado botada.

En su caso, han sido los “pinchazos” que guarda como tesoros, de donde nace el impulso por crear: sus obras están hechas a partir de los clavos y diversos elementos que saca de los neumáticos que repara.

Este gesto de recuperación del objeto incrustado y su posterior puesta en escena como parte de un collage, es un acto puro de creación donde la mente no interviene, no hay prejuicios ni modas. Sólo deja que el impulso se guíe a través de la intuición, y se termine creando un fluido movimiento de clavos como un cardumen de pequeños objetos que dan forma a paisajes y personajes de un imaginario que surge de sus propias experiencias y añoranzas. Cada obra de Héctor Luis es a la vez una caja que muestra estos objetos como en una pequeña vitrina de insectos y bichos raros que, por especiales y únicos, forman parte de una composición poética y viva.

Los pinchazos se han transformado en un gesto caligráfico que dibuja una escena, donde los clavos se transforman en trazos alegres que componen paisajes inspirados en su amado Pichilemu, un sueño, un momento inspirador, o en experiencias místicas que elevan sus obras a profundas reflexiones sobre nuestros orígenes precolombinos.

Creación pura e ingenua

Héctor ha podido compartir sus inspiraciones con diversos artistas como la destacada artista nacional Tatiana Álamos, con quien expuso el año 2010 en el Centro Cultural Agustín Ross y con la que mantuvo una relación epistolar de mutua admiración y conexión. Además, ha realizado exposiciones en Pichilemu y, por primera vez el año 2016, tuvo la oportunidad de mostrar su obra en una muestra nacional de artistas de diversas regiones realizadas por el Programa Traslado del Ministerio de las Culturas y las Artes y el Patrimonio, en el Centro Cultural Matucana 100 en Santiago y el 2017 en el centro de Extensión de la Universidad Católica del Maule en Talca.

En ese viaje, que fue la segunda vez que Héctor Luis salía de Pichilemu, recordó su única visita a la capital cuando tenía siete años y conoció la momia Chinchorro, una experiencia que marcó su vida. En esta segunda visita a Santiago, pudo compartir su proceso creativo con públicos y artistas que apreciaron sus “pinchazos” con gran interés, porque son una muestra de creación pura y hasta ingenua, pero que a la vez es producto de una acción artística contemporánea de alto contenido estético y cultural.

Actualmente está abordando el dolor de la violencia hacia el pueblo mapuche con su obra “Araucaria herida”. Durante la noche, después de compartir con sus hijos, se conecta para saber más sobre sus orígenes, conocer más del universo, sobre los ciclos de la vida. Los efectos del cambio climático y la crisis social no escapan a su reflexión. Y aprendió a conocer el “yo”, estudiando filosofía. “Hay mucha violencia, lo primero es quererse y respetarse a uno mismo para luego poder querer y respetar a los demás, al entorno, nuestros orígenes”.

Héctor Luis Pacheco es un creador por esencia que plasma la belleza del clavo y del oficio con una extensa producción de pinchazos que exhibe en su propia vulca.
