A continuación, se detallan los principales puntos sobre la actividad que se desarrolló este miércoles en el Campus Colchagua de la Universidad Estatal de O’Higgins y, de ella, participaron Seremi- Universidades PACE- Liceos adscritos.

29 liceos de la Región de O’Higgins pertenecen al Programa de Acceso a la Educación Superior (PACE). De ellos, 20 son tutelados por la Universidad Estatal de O’Higgins, accediendo a las provincias de Colchagua, Cardenal Caro y Cachapoal, a través del acompañamiento de más de 5.000 estudiantes. Por eso, coordinar acciones y compartir experiencias es fundamental para las comunidades educativas en pleno. Con ese fin, se desarrolló este miércoles, en Campus Colchagua de la UOH, la primera de tres jornadas PACE regional, en la que participaron Seremi – Universidad de Santiago de Chile y Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana – Subsecretaría de Educación – Liceos adscritos.
“La jornada permitió generar espacios de acuerdos y convivencia entre los distintos actores que participan del programa PACE, entre las universidades y los liceos adscritos. En la región, tenemos un plan que permite, efectivamente, tener una mayor vinculación, que es tremendamente importante. Encuentros como este nos permiten compartir experiencias, observar distintas prácticas, que se han desarrollado de manera exitosa e ir aunando fuerzas para hacer un trabajo que no sea aislado de cada universidad y liceo que participa”, expresó el seremi de Educación, Gabriel Bosque.
La primera exposición estuvo a cargo de la coordinación regional programa PACE seremi región de O’Higgins, quienes repasaron los antecedentes principales de la iniciativa, sus objetivos, requisitos de habilitación, detalle de los/as estudiantes habilitados/as PACE, entre otros aspectos fundamentales.
“El PACE es un programa que tiene mucha inyección de recursos por parte del Estado, y es un programa que a la Subsecretaría de Educación Superior le interesa seguir desde más cerca, monitorear y conocerlo, para mejorar las políticas respecto al mismo. Creo que la alianza que se ha producido entre nosotros, el Mineduc y la UOH, ha sido relevante para impulsarlo y sistematizar la información respecto de este”, detalló el encargado regional del programa. Cabe señalar que el programa atiende, a través de tres universidades – Usach, Utem y UO’H-, a miles de estudiantes de la región, y los 29 establecimientos con PACE tienen, para el año 2022, 609 habilitados que podrían acceder a la educación superior a través de dicho programa.
Posteriormente, se realizó un taller sobre la “bitácora del estudiante”, instrumento que permitirá registrar la trayectoria del alumno. Finalmente, se dejó en claro de qué trataba la Constitución red PACE, y se dio a conocer el proyecto de monitoreo y seguimiento al programa. Para el director del Instituto Politécnico de Santa Cruz, Cristián Bastías, la jornada se trató de una instancia positiva. “Agradezco su tiempo. Sabemos que siempre hemos trabajado en conjunto con el PACE UOH. Estamos agradecidos/as de toda su orientación que nos brindan siempre”. El PACE, de la Universidad de O’Higgins, se compromete con brindarles habilidades para el siglo XXI, con las que podrán alcanzar nuevas oportunidades que les traerán cambios en sus comunidades y familias.
